If you can remember back to the very first post ever on this blog from the music section, then you’ll see that there was some Dylan Owen on there. If you’re not familiar, Dylan Owen is an up and coming artist from Ithaca, NY who has been rising for the last couple months. His story started very similar to many other indie rappers as he first began free-styling in middle school and building a name for himself through battles. He then transformed to writing full songs and rapping full time. And the rest is history.
My Top Ten Favorite Sports Films

To kick-off my weekend I went to go check out the new movie that has everyone buzzing – Moneyball – when I started to walk out of the theater I was a loss of words to describe how good this movie was. This, I thought to myself, was a rare spectacle … rarely do I find myself entranced on a movie to the point that I am almost consumed in the movie, but the comedy and emotional one-two punch of the film had me in awe for all 126 minutes. I got to thinking last night, what are my favorite Sports Movies of all time? No, I’m not talking comedies like Talladega Nights, Caddyshack, Happy Gilmore, Blades of Glory, or The Waterboy; I’m talking about true-stories, a detailed and believable plot-line, and – in some cases – tear-jerking closings. Without further adieu, here’s my top ten…

It’s finally here!!! Ohh J. Cole, where to begin with you? Well first let me state that he is my second favorite emcee ever (behind Kendrick Lamar of course) and that I have been looking forward to this album for a long time now. I have been on J. Cole ever since the release of The Come Up and it’s incredible to see him achieve the status that he has come to today. I don’t really want to ramble on about this and that going into the album, so without further adieu hit the jump for the review on the Roc Nation emcee’s debut album, Cole World: The Sideline Story!
