New Music of the Week: 6/27-7/1

After a slow last week, the music leaks really picked up the pace this week. I’m throwing up seven tracks for this week because there was no way I could narrow it down to five. We get new releases from The Dean’s List, Chiddy Bang, Na Palm and Machine Gun Kelly, Lloyd with Lil Wayne and André 3000, YONAS, Sonny Shotz and OnCue, and T.I. with B.o.B. Top 25 Albums of the Year (So Far)

It’s hard to believe that we are already halfway through 2011. Even harder for some to believe that there have been so many good releases in music already. That being said I’ve cooked up my Top 25 releases of the year so far. Rather than try to breakup mixtapes and official releases (which have become pretty much one in the same lately), I decided to lump them all together and give you my take on the twenty-five best releases at the midway point of 2011. This is been a very big week for music with the leaks all over the place. This is definitely one of the best weeks in a while and we get releases from Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, XV, Big Sean, and CyHi Da Prynce. Check out the tracks and listen to them after the jump!

We have a new, emotional joint from up and comer Dylan Owen, a standout track off of Chiddy Bang’s new mixtape, a lyrical, hype track from J. Cole for his new album, a new single from ESP favorite, The Dean’s List, and a new single off of Lil Wayne’s new album, Tha Carter IV, coming June 21.
