I’m now finally getting around to checking out the music submissions as I have been very busy lately. So you can expect a couple of these coming to you in the next few days. Troll Toll is an upcoming is an upcoming hip-hop group with an indie/alternative twist to them. They have sick emcees and crazy producers, last time I checked that makes for some dope ass music. Artist On the Rise: Action Bronson

I was thinking the other day about how many NYC artists I have done in the Artist On the Rise series. Out of the almost thirty I’ve done, there have been a total of two (Emilio Rojas and Das Racist). Upon more thinking I realized I needed someone who had that classic, gritty, underground sound to them, and oh boy do I have the perfect guy in mind. Enter William Jackson aka Action Bronson. I have barely spoken about Bronson before and it’s time he got more love here. Like many of the Queens rappers before him, he too has an ear for hot beats and witty wordplay. Let me just say that this man can rap his ass off and is starting to make a name for himself among hip-hop heads.

Artist On the Rise: Macklemore

I know I’ve briefly spoken about Macklemore before, but it’s time the you got formally introduced the Seattle emcee. The man has a downright sick flow and the lyrical content to go along with it. In addition he has been through a lot and it shows in his music. It’s full of lush production and outstanding lyrics, throw in his flow and knowledge of music in general and you have a monster of an emcee. Artist On the Rise: Moufy

It’s about time Boston is put on the map as one of the best places for new talent in the game today. With artists such as The Dean’s List and Sam Adams, Boston is generating some serious buzz across the country. But it’s time we threw another artist into that group, Moufy. Moufy is an extremely talented rapper from Beantown and he reps it to the fullest. He has the ability to make chill raps to summer anthems to deep, socially aware records, the man can pretty much do it all. With a pair of solid mixtapes to his name, it’s time Moufy blew up across the country.

Artist On the Rise: Pmac

It’s time we introduced a new west coast up and comer. Allow me to put Pmac in that slot. Hailing from San Francisco, Pmac is a talent that needs to be shared with the world. He has incredible wordplay and has a solid list of producers to get beats from. As you can tell from the picture, Pmac is of Asian decent. It’s time we had an Oriental rapper make in big in the music scene here in the United States. We have groups/artists on the brink such as Far East Movement and Jin, but Pmac might be the most promising of the whole group. He has the ability to appeal to any music listener and with his talents behind the mic, so expect to see his name a lot more often.
