It’s time for the fifth edition of Wednesday Night Shuffle! If you aren’t familiar, then here’s the deal: I’m going to select five different tracks that have been on rotation the most during the past week. They can be new, old, rap, rock, pop, whatever. I’ll talk a little about each track and give you a stream, download, ect. It’s just going to be about good music. So without further adieu hit the jump for the fifth edition of Wednesday Night Shuffle and be on the lookout for them every Wednesday night!

Lil Wayne – I.I.O. (feat. Tech N9NE, Andre 3000, Bun B, Nas, Shyne & Busta Rhymes)
Lil Wayne’s new album Tha Carter IV came out to mostly negative reviews (#thingsbetterthanthecarteriv was trending on Twitter recently), but it looks like that’s not phasing the album sales as it is project to sell +900,000 units. Well if you checked my review then you probably know that my two favorite songs were the Interlude and Outro. So I have been searching constantly for a combination of the Intro + Interlude + Outro and I finally found it. While this isn’t it, it’s the only version SoundCloud had and it’s without Shyne.

OnCue – Feel Tall
The first single from Cuey’s upcoming mixtape, Can’t Wait, dropping soon. This track has Cuey doing everything he does best, dropping crazy verses, sick flow, a sing-songy chorus and throw in some dope lyrics. If you’ve never heard of OnCue, then this is the perfect chance to get antiquated and be sure to check out his mixtape when it drops.

Pusha T – Amen (feat. Kanye West & Young Jeezy)
Newly leaked track from Pusha T’s upcoming project, Fear of God: Let us Pray, dropping September 27th. In a way it is a disappointment, but it is actually an old recycled Young Jeezy track. With that being said, I love this track. The beat is a complete banger and has a definite dirty south feel to it, not a surprise considering it came from Jeezy. Pusha and Kanye both kill their verses with top notch flow and lyrical content. But I’m going to give the edge to Kanye for his insane flow, it is just on another level. Jeezy’s verse and hook were solid, it’s not like you could have left them out though. They weren’t the best I’ve ever seen from the Snowman, but it got the job done.

The Dean’s List – Kryptonite Sanity Room
New single from The Dean’s List is one of my favorite records ever from the Boston trio. The song starts of with Sonny talking to himself in a dinner and that transitions into him rapping over a beat composed of slow caps. Then the beat really drops. It’s downright amazing, it has an almost dreamy feel to it, like you’re just looking up at the sky. It still goes though, it has big time synth kicks and an eerie background sound. At about the four minute mark the track evolves into an even different beat, a piano filled jam. The ever changing beat is some of the best work I’ve seen from DJ Mendoza and Mik Beats. You guys can go chill in Marvins Room, I’ll be in the Kryptonite Sanity Room.

Scoop DeVille & Young De – Ready 2 Go (feat. Xzibit & Brevi)
Old track off Scoopy and Young De’s new collaborative EP, Neva LOOK Back!. This track is a downright banger from Scoop and everyone on the track drops some sick bars. If you love that west coast, banger sound, then you’ll love this record. Btw we need that new Get Busy Committee album Scoop!

Make it two weeks in a row and his third appearance in the series already from the West Virginia emcee. Well Huey just let loose this new track + video in honor of reaching 7,000 followers on Twitter. The track has dope as hell sample from Matt Kearney and Huey drops two insane verses. Throw in a nice sing-songy part from Huey, solid lyrics, nice flow and a catchy hook from Matt Kearney and you have one helluva song.
