If it holds will be the biggest day in hip-hop in years. With expected releases from J. Cole, Big K.R.I.T., Yelawolf, 9th Wonder and Evidence. If that happens then, it would be insane. But I have a feeling at least one or two of them will be pushed back (cough..J.Cole..cough). Well hit the jump for information on each project and vote for which release you’re looking forward to the most!

J. Cole – Cole World: The Sideline Story
Production: J. Cole, No I.D., Danja, Brian Kidd
Features: Jay-Z, Trey Songz
Singles: Work Out
Despite being pushed back for almost two year now, J. Cole has stated that his debut album will finally be released on September 27th. I hope more than anything that what he says is true. While everyone has been very critical of his latest single, Work Out, all I can say is that I love it. It has been on constant repeat ever since it was released and it is undeniably catchy. Lost Ones is another supposed leak from CWTSS and is details the serious story of an abortion from two different perspectives. Another leak from the album, titled Cheer Up is an umptemp record that still is unfinished as the last minute has nothing. Being late in releasing his debut album (behind the likes of artists such as Drake and Big Sean), J. Cole is finally ready to let loose what everyone has been anticipating for so long.

Big K.R.I.T. – Live From the Underground
Production: Big K.R.I.T.
Features: N/A
Singles: N/A
Yes I realize he has yet to even release a single for the album, but I’m going to hope Big K.R.I.T. stays true to his word and release his major label debut album on date. If he does, two of my three favorite artist (Kendrick Lamar is missing, but he just released Section.80 so he’s all good) will release albums on the same day. There isn’t much information so far on Live From the Underground, but if you want to hear an interview with Krizzle on the direction for the album, click here. But what you can expect is the same old Big K.R.I.T. as his last two previous efforts.

Yelawolf – Radioactive
Production: Jim Josin, Eminem, Travis Barker, Diplo, Chuck Inglish
Features: CyHi Da Prynce
Singles: Gangsta of Love
The Alabama spitter is gearing up to release his debut album to much anticipation. After being signed by Eminem in January to Shady/Interscope Records along with Slaughterhouse and with Eminem guiding him along on his project, it’s sure to be dope. The first official single, Gangsta of Love is a great representation of what he is capable of behind the mic. He opens up the songs with an incredibly dope line that goes “Will the real slim shady please stand up? And tell these m***********s why I got signed”. Despite it saying it has a CyHi Da Prynce feature, he is just on the outro, oh well.

Evidence – Cats & Dogs
Production: Evidence, The Alchemist, Sid Roams, Rahki, Pete Rock, DJ Premier, Jake One, Statik Selektah
Features: Aloe Blacc, Raekwon, Ras Kass, Roc Marciano, Prodigy, Termanology, Krondon, Slug, Lil Fame, Rakaa
Singles: To Be Continued…
Evidence, the L.A. based rapper from the group Dilated People is finally going to release his long awaited LP. With production from greats such as The Alchemist, Pete Rock and DJ Premier and features from Raekwon, Prodigy and Roc Marciano this is going to be one helluva album.
To Be Continued…

9th Wonder – The Wonder Years
Production: 9th Wonder
Features: Kendrick Lamar, Mac Miller, Big K.R.I.T., David Banner, MURS, Marsha Ambrosius, Erykah Badu, Warren G
Singles: N/A
The producer from Raleigh, NC has some seriously big names lined up for his new LP and with him behnd the boards on each and every track, I expect nothing but the best.
